Myths And Truths About Natural Hair

By Praise Ikedi

1. It is not possible to have long natural hair

This is a very wrong notion. Growing long natural hair  is very much achievable with the right practices, with consistency and time

2. Natural hair is hard to Manage

????Natural, textured hair can seem hard to manage if you attempt to treat it like processed hair. If you use the same regimen and tools and expect the same results that you would on straightened hair, you're going to be disappointed. However, once you learn to treat natural hair in a way that doesn't try to change or alter it, it can be effectively managed as any other type of hair.

3. Natural hair needs grease

NO❌❌❌, it doesn't. You don't need to grease your scalp because it has it own natural oils which are much healthier. Applying a lot of hair grease products that contain ingredients like petroleum, bad mineral oils, bee wax, etc causes build up on the scalp. Not only can this prevent your hair from growing effectively but also leaves the Hair Follicles Clogged,

Consider using healthy oils like jojoba, Virgin olive oil, shea butter and coconut oil.
